Hiya, I am a room5ian, and I want to tell yaws about what I know about Washington.
DC stands for District of Columbia. It is named after George Washington. The population is 588,292, in 2007.

Hello! Just gonna tell you a bit about Washington DC! (Apparently it’s a really cool place to go…)

It’s named after George Washington (The first US president.) The city and the district are located on the banks of the Potomac River and bordered by Virginia to the southwest and Maryland to the northwest, northeast, and southeast.
